Bridge Resource Management (BRM)

Course Details:

Any student successfully completing this course will satisfy the Bridge Resource Management training requirements of:

• 46 CFR 11.309(a)(4)(vii) for an STCW endorsement as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) for vessels of 500 GT (ITC) or more (Operational level); AND
• 46 CFR 11.319(a)(4)(vii) for an STCW endorsement as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) for vessels of  less than 500 GT (ITC) (Operational level); AND
• 46 CFR 11.321(a)(3)(iv) for an STCW endorsement as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) for vessels of less than 500 GT (ITC) limited to near-coastal waters (Operational level); AND
• 46 CFR 11.309(a)(3) and 11.319(a)(3); STCW Code Section A-II/1 and Table A-II/1, as amended 2010, meeting the National Assessment Guidelines from NVIC’s 12-14 (CH-4) AND 02-18 (CH-2) Tasks 2.7A, 2.7B, 2.7C, 2.7D, 2.7E, 2.7F, and 2.7G; AND
• 46 CFR 11.309(a)(2); STCW Code Section A-II/3 and Table A-II/3, as amended 2010
