Course Summary:
This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency in Table A-II/1 of STCW Code 2010, as amended, for the function of Navigation at the operational level. It is intended for candidates for certification as Officer In Charge Of A Navigation Watch. Those wishing to enter this course should be following a program of shipboard training. Students will be required to read, write, use the internet for research and do basic math.
